Third Thursday Lunch & Learn: Changing Alpine Landscapes, with Lynn Resler
January 21, 2021
Noon-1 p.m.

Professor Lynn Resler, an ecological biogeographer in the Department of Geography, will discuss some of the rapid changes occurring in majestic alpine landscapes of the Rocky Mountains. Learn how biomes are changing, how ecosystems are adjusting to glacier retreat, and how invasive species and forest disease are affecting upper subalpine ecosystems. She will use examples from her work in Glacier National Park and other public lands in the magnificent part of North America referred to as “The Crown of the Continent Ecosystem.”

There is no charge for attendance; however, we have provided an option to make a gift at check-out for those who would like to contribute. All gifts will benefit the Department of Geography Annual Fund.
