AAD Welcome Back Picnic 
August 28, 2024
5:30-7:30 p.m.

Join the Architecture, Arts, and Design college community for a welcome picnic to kick off the academic year. Catch up with friends, faculty/staff, and Dean Lu Liu.

Student clubs and organizations will be set up on the lawn for you to explore. Enjoy music by New Standard Blue Grass, picnic dinner from Hethwood Market, and Smooshed ice cream truck. College giveaways, lawn games, and appearances from HokieBird and our Marching Virginians complete the fun.  

REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED for FREE food and fun. PLEASE REGISTER BY AUG. 22. This will ensure we have enough food for all without waste.

Student clubs/organizations may sign up for a table through this registration or contact Tanya Ridpath, director of alumni relations at tanyar@vt.edu. 

The event will take place rain or shine. Tented seating is available or bring a lawn blanket.
