CLAHSSA Virtual 5K Strides for Scholarships
March 1 - May 31, 2025
The CLAHS Staff Association's Scholarship Committee invites you to join us for our second Strides for Scholarships Virtual 5k! You can participate in the Virtual 5k anytime, anywhere between March 1 - May 31. Your registration includes a t-shirt or a fanny pack; you can select your preferred item when you register. The Virtual 5k is open to everyone -- CLAHS staff, faculty, students, and alumni are encouraged to participate, and folks not affiliated with our college or even VT can participate, too. Whether you run, walk, bike, hike, or skip your way through the Virtual 5k, you're making a difference for our students!
All proceeds will go to the Association's student scholarship fund. Each spring, the money raised for the scholarship fund goes to a CLAHS student selected by the Scholarship Committee. So, grab a friend or family member and sign up to do the CLAHS Staff Association's Strides for Scholarships Virtual 5K! You can read more about last year's scholarship recipient here.
Registration is $25 — this includes a CLAHS Staff Association Virtual 5k t-shirt or a fanny pack, as well as a $5 gift to the CLAHSSA Student Scholarship Fund.
In order to secure a t-shirt in your size or a fanny pack, please register by April 18. We cannot guarantee that there will be a shirt in your size if you register after this date. If you choose to have your t-shirt or fanny pack mailed to you, it will be shipped to the address you provide at checkout. If you choose to pick up your item on campus, we will notify you via email when they are ready.
