Day-of-Play and Student Send-Off
All guests are invited to join us earlier in the day for a full day of Hokie beach fun, or from 5-7 p.m. when we will welcome and send-off the Virginia Tech Class of 2029!
📅 Sunday, June 22
🕒 Hokie Beach Party 1:30 - 7 p.m. | Student Send-Off 5-7 p.m.
📍 Seabrook Island Beach Access #2 - 2241 Oyster Catcher Court, Seabrook Island, SC 29455
🅿️ Parking passes will be arranged via email prior to the event. Pull-up parking spots will be provided at Beach Access #2.
Event Details:
🏖️ Join us for a beach party to send-off our new Charleston Hokies to Blacksburg!
🍴 Food is provided throughout the day and evening, with all students and their families attending for free.
💰 The cost for all non-student guests (to include their family) is $25 per person and includes a $5 gift to the Charleston Alumni Chapter Scholarship Fund for local students attending Virginia Tech in the Fall!
😎 Every student receives custom Virginia Tech swag perfect for a sunny beach day!

🦃 Charleston Alumni Chapter Scholarship recipients will be announced at the send-off event.
Golf
Join the Charleston Hokies for Golf at the beautiful Seabrook Island Club. Incoming and current students, guests, and alumni are all invited to participate!

🕒 Tee times start at 1 p.m. for individual or team play.

🅿️ Gate passes will be reserved for each registered party. The Charleston Hokies will email all registered guests prior to the event to arrange.
⛳ Registration is $125 per player which includes a $5 gift to the Charleston Alumni Chapter Scholarship Fund for local students attending Virginia Tech. Space is limited.
🏖️ Afterwards, golfers can head to the private Seabrook Island beach to enjoy beach games and sandwiches during our annual Student Send-Off event. Registration for Day of Play beach activities is additional $25 per each non-student guest.
Pickleball
Join the Charleston Hokies for Pickleball at the beautiful Seabrook Island Racquet Club. Incoming and current students, guests, and alumni are all invited to participate!

Event Details:
🅿️ A gate pass will be reserved for each registered party. The Charleston Hokies will email all registered guests prior to the event to arrange.
👟 Registration is $40 per guest which includes a $5 gift to the Charleston Alumni Chapter Scholarship Fund for local students attending Virginia Tech. Space is limited.
🏓 Attendees are encouraged to bring their pickleball gear, although there will be some paddles on-site if needed.
🏖️ After sweeping the courts, pickleballers can head to the private Seabrook Island beach to enjoy beach games and sandwiches during our annual Student Send-Off event. Registration for Day of Play beach activities is additional $25 per each non-student guest.
We have provided an option to make a an additional gift at check-out for those who would like to contribute. All gifts will benefit the Charleston Alumni Chapter Scholarship for local students heading to Virginia Tech in the fall of 2026!
