You’re Invited: Virginia Tech reception happening alongside the opening of the Chicago Architecture Biennial
We’re excited to invite all Architecture Alumni and friends to a special Virginia Tech reception at our Chicago studio.

Join Dean Lu Liu, dean of the College of Architecture, Arts, and Design, and Jim Bassett, director of the School of Architecture, for an evening of drinks, hors d’oeuvres, and networking. The event will feature presentations by Virginia Tech Architecture students, highlighting their work in the Chicago Studio and information about projects on display at the Biennial. A special thanks to Chip von Weise of von Weise Associates for hosting this event.
Registration Fee:
💵 $20 for alumni/friends, of which $5 is a gift to the College’s Annual Fund
🎓 Current Virginia Tech faculty and students are free

The Biennial brings together global voices to explore bold ideas and reimagine the future of design. Through exhibitions, talks, performances, and more, it fosters creativity and community engagement. Free and open to the public, it’s the largest international survey of contemporary architecture and design in North America.
