Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets Alumni Reunion
September 16-18, 2022
Spend an immersive weekend with the Corps of Cadets as we reunite with old friends and buds, celebrate the Class of 1972 induction into the Old Guard, and march onto Worsham Field for the football game against Wofford!
Friday, 16 September:
0900-1530 Registrant Check-In in Lobby of The Inn at Virginia Tech
1600-2200 Registrant Check-In on Porch of Lane Hall
1600-1800 VTCC Open House with scheduled tours
1700-1715 VTCC Formal Retreat
1715-2000 Social Hour and Dinner on Shanks Plain ($45 per person, includes $5 gift to Commandant's Priority Fund)
2000-2200 Last Call from Lane Hall with snacks and drinks (free)
Saturday, 17 September:
0800-1030 Registrant Check-In in Grand Hall of Holtzman Alumni Center
0930-1030 Shuttle Busses from Holtzman Alumni Center fountain to Lane Stadium
1035-1100 Alumni March On Worsham Field
1100-End of Game (EOG): Football Game v Wofford (*)
EOG+2.5 Hours: Family Friendly Tailgate at Holtzman Alumni Center with food and drinks (free)
*Football tickets in the Corps block will go on sale at 1000 EDT on 20 July 2022 and will cost $30 each. Use Promo Code: VTCCF2202 at VT v Wofford Football Tickets. All registered attendees will receive an email reminder with the link the night prior.
Sunday, 18 September (subject to cancellation with low registration):
0800-1000 New Cadet Breakfast Experience ($10 per person, children 4 and under free)
TBD Golf at VT Golf Course with box lunch and golf goodie bag ($40 per person)
Invitations to the Alumni Board Meeting and the ELS Scholarship Donor Breakfast will be issued separately.
All attendees must be registered to participate in any of the VTCC Reunion Weekend events. The last day to register for the VTCC Alumni Reunion is 8 September so don’t wait and risk missing out on all the fun!! Please register using contact information by which you wish to receive reunion updates. All VTCC Alumni and all Friday Social Hour and Dinner Registrants will receive a reunion goodie bag.
If you wish to stay at The Inn at Virginia Tech, please use this link Corps of Cadets or call 540-231-8000 and identify that you are attending the VTCC Reunion (if they don’t know what you are talking about, specify Corps of Cadets) to access the limited amount of reserved rooms. These rooms are $499 plus tax per night for 2 personnel with $10 per additional person. There is a 2-night minimum.
