D.C. Hokies Student Send-Off

Join us for the D.C. Metro Area Hokies Student Send-Off Picnic!
The event is free for incoming students and children 10 and under. There is a $10 fee for all others, which $5 of this fee goes to the DC Chapter Scholarship fund. Guests are encouraged to bring a store-bought snack, side item or dessert to share if able! If you have lawn games, folding tables or camping chairs, we would love if you’d bring those along as well.
This event will give you an opportunity to meet students heading to Virginia Tech this fall and recognize the D.C. area students that were awarded alumni chapter scholarships.
Please note: Fort Ward Park is located off of 395 and the large pavilion is located at the back of the park. A one-way street runs throughout the park, with parking spots along the drive. There are two bathrooms at the park, both a 5-minute walk from the pavilion.
