Innovation Campus Opening Celebration

Celebrate with Virginia Tech as we expand our presence in the greater Washington, D.C., area with the opening of Academic Building One in Alexandria. This event will feature keynote speaker Regina Dugan, president and CEO of Wellcome Leap and a two-time Virginia Tech alumna, government officials, university leaders and other notable guests.  Doors open at 9:30 a.m. with remarks beginning at 10 a.m.  An open house of the building and light lunch will follow the program. 

Due to the anticipated high volume of attendees, seating within the tent will be limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. To ensure a seat, we strongly encourage guests to arrive early. Overflow seating will be available inside the building, where the ceremony will be live-streamed prior to the luncheon and open house.
