The Douglas C. Montgomery Distinguished Lecture Series at Virginia Tech is a forum for the exchange of current topics related to industrial statistics and statistical engineering. Generously supported by Douglas C. Montgomery, this series is a collaborative effort between the Department of Statistics and the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering.

Virginia Tech is pleased to host the inaugural Douglas C. Montgomery Distinguished Lecture with Dr. Christine M. Anderson-Cook on Tuesday, September 20 at 3:30 p.m. in the Fralin Life Sciences Institute Auditorium and virtually via Zoom.

The title of her talk is “Is Designed Data Collection Still Relevant in the Big Data Era?”

There is no charge for attendance; however, we have provided an option to make a gift at check-out for those who would like to contribute to the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering and/or the Department of Statistics.
