The Douglas C. Montgomery Distinguished Lecture Series at Virginia Tech is a forum for the exchange of current topics related to industrial statistics and statistical engineering. Generously supported by Douglas C. Montgomery, this series is a collaborative effort between the Department of Statistics and the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering.

Virginia Tech is pleased to host the inaugural Douglas C. Montgomery Distinguished Lecture with Dr. Barry Nelson on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at 3:30 p.m. in the Holtzman Alumni Center Auditorium and virtually via Zoom. A reception will follow in the Tillar Grand Hall.

There is no charge for attendance; however, we have provided an option to make a gift at check-out for those who would like to contribute to the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering or the Department of Statistics.
