Cornerstone Luncheon: Living with Ease thru DesignOctober 14, 202412-1:30 p.m.
Join us for a lunch and learn as Dr. Martha Sullivan, Chair and Associate Professor of Practice in Industrial Design, discusses how mindfulness and collaboration with an active adult market can beneficially impact product design and user experience as one ages. Dr. Sullivan will spotlight several student design projects at Virginia Tech and gather audience reaction.
Cost is $10 to attend and includes a $5 gift to the Industrial Design Annual Fund. Registrants can make an optional additional gift to the Industrial Design Annual Fund, upon checkout, which Dr. Sullivan utilizes to purchase classroom materials for her students and conduct field trips, having students interact with businesses on product design.
Parking is available at the Virginia Tech Richmond Center. Guests are asked not to park in any numbered space or underneath the building. There is an ADA entrance, if desired, facing North Parham Road.
