Rocket City Hokie Hike

Join the Rocket City Hokies on a hike at Chapman Mountain Nature Preserve combining the Moonshine Trail, Whole Planet Trail, Terry Trail, Bulldog Trail. Brian Conway one of our chapter leaders will be leading the Hike!
The Hike will take place on Saturday, Oct. 17th at 9:30 A.M.
This will be a moderate (some uphill), 3-mile hike. We will walk as a group at a leisurely pace with breaks for water (please bring a water bottle!) and pictures. Parking is free.
Directions
From Madison, Take I-565 east, eventually becomes HWY 72. At the bottom of the hill, stay in the left lane and at the Moores Mill Rd traffic light make a U-Turn. After making the U-turn, stay in the right lane as you head back up the hill. When the guard rail ends, be prepared to turn right into the Chapman Mountain Nature Preserve parking lot. NOTE: I’ve had trouble using my Apple Maps with the address 1263 U.S. Hwy 72 East, Huntsville, AL 35811.
