First Annual VTCC Golf Tournament
May 6, 2022
8 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Welcome to the registration for the First Annual Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets Golf Tournament to be held at Auburn Hills Golf Club in Riner, VA on Friday, 6 May 2022!!

The registration fee is $60 per player, which includes green fees, cart, lunch, range balls, and a $10 gift to the Highty Tighty Annual Giving Fund.  The driving range will open at 0800 to warm up for the 0900 shotgun start.  The format will be 2-man teams with holes 1-9 played in captain’s choice/scramble (both partners playing from the best lie of their two balls hit from the same location) and holes 10-18 played in best ball (each playing their own ball and counting the lowest score per hole).  Don’t have a partner?  Don’t let that stop you from registering!!  You can select a partner at any time or we can pair you with someone.

Please stop by the check-in desk beside the clubhouse main entrance to pick up your tournament bags, partner/cart assignments, and the opportunity to purchase teeing up from the next closest tee box on any hole and up to 4 mulligans for $5 each, cash only.  Meet back at the check-in desk no later than 0845 for the tournament rules and then head to your assigned holes for the 0900 shotgun start.  Prizes will be awarded for the lowest gross team scores and all par 3s will feature closest to the pin prizes!

Auburn Hills Golf Club tees:  Women play from Red or Pink on par 5s.  Men aged 80+ play from Red, men 70-79 play from Orange, men 60-69 play from Yellow, and men under 60 play from White.

Come join in the fun as the Corps starts a new annual tradition!!  This year’s tournament will benefit the Highty Tighty Annual Giving Fund, selected by our host, Chuck Rowell HT ’71.  If you cannot attend but would like to donate, follow this link Online Giving | Virginia Tech (vt.edu) and select Highty Tighty Annual Fund.  Sign up today before registration closes at the end of the day on 3 May!!
