Cornerstone Big Event at Montgomery County Animal Care & Adoption Center
April 6, 2023
11 a.m - 12:30 p.m.
Montgomery County Animal Care & Adoption Center
480 Cinnabar Rd
Christiansburg, VA 24073
Big Event for NRV Cornerstone Alumni. Cornerstone members will have the opportunity to help the Animal Adoption Center on several projects by working to socialize kittens and dogs, stock their pantry with food and supplies and weather permitting, light gardening outside with a volunteer Master Gardener. The cattery has space limitations. Registrants are asked to work in :30 shifts, so everyone can participate who wishes.
The adoption center is currently accepting the following donations: cat toys, dog toys, sandwich/quart Ziploc bags, litter scoops, Purina brand cat and dog chow, and Purina kitten chow. You may bring those items with you to the event if you are interested in donating.
We have also provided an opportunity to make a monetary gift at checkout for those who would like to contribute. All monetary gifts will benefit The Big Event. If you are an individual with a disability and desire an accommodation, please contact Shannon Hammons at 540.231.8673 or email jshannonh93@vt.edu during regular business hours at least 10 business days prior to the event.
