Cornerstone Lecture Series: Understanding Fraud in Today's Digital World

Join us for an informative discussion with experts across the state of Virginia on the latest trends in consumer fraud. Guests will have the opportunity, over the course of six lectures, to learn more about Medicare fraud, holiday scams, cyber crimes and electronic devices, online romance scams, and artificial intelligence. Our last lecture in the series will be dedicated to recovery and consumer empowerment following a scam attempt. Our guest speakers include the Virginia State Police, AARP, and the Better Business Bureau, to name just a few.

Currently, Virginia is ranked number 10 in the nation on reportable scams to seniors. Come learn, ask questions and leave better positioned to react to a scammer and their attempts to gain access to your personal information and finances.
