College of Science Pi Day 5K

Hokies go the extra 183 feet!

This year we are celebrating 14 days of Pi from March 1-14. Since March 14th is on a Thursday, you'll have 2 weekends and 14 days to complete your 3.14 miles and celebrate with us.

Participating in the College of Science Pi Day 5K is easy. During the 14 days of Pi window, run, bike, swim, baby-jogger push with your swag and post your photo on our Kudoboard or tag us on social media. The Kudoboard is a great way to see and cheer on fellow Hokies celebrating Pi Day.

The Pi Day 5k is all about getting together with Hokies and nerding out over pi. Enjoy any physical activity you want, for any distance. If you want to stir up friendly competition, share how many multiples of pi-mileage you want to cover between March 1-14.

Registration

Each registration will include an official Pi Day packet, mailed to the address provided at checkout. If you would like your packet sent to a different address, please let us know at sciencersvp@vt.edu. If you register for more than one person, all packets will be mailed to the primary address. Register by February 28 to receive your pack in time for Pi Day (3/14/24). Any registrations placed after February 28 will still receive a packet, although it will not be guaranteed for delivery prior to March 14.
