Please join Virginia Tech alumni and friends at the Pamplin College of Business Inaugural Thought Leadership Conference on Thursday, June 13, at the Freddie Mac campus in Tysons Corner.

Guest speakers include alumni and business leaders who will share insights on their business sectors, career paths, and prospects for their fields through talks and a panel discussion. Topics to be covered include data analytics, entrepreneurship, mergers and acquisitions, cyber security, virtual learning, operations/management, and business leadership.

The speakers are: Trevor Halstead, president of Cybrary; Janine Hiller, professor of business law at Virginia Tech; Kyu Jung, CEO of ProCon Consulting; Nick Marinos, director of information technology and cybersecurity in the General Accounting Office; Ian McCulloh, principal director and chief data scientist, Accenture; and Mehul Sanghani, CEO of Octo Consulting Group.

The half-day conference starts at 1 p.m. and ends at 5 p.m. It will be followed by a reception, with complimentary hors d’oeuvres, beer, and wine. Pamplin Dean Robert Sumichrast will provide closing remarks.

The event is organized by the Pamplin Society and the Pamplin College of Business and hosted by Freddie Mac at its conference space at 1551 Park Run Drive, McLean.
