Protecting Seniors from Scams & Fraud in 2025

Join us for a free webinar, courtesy of Southwest Virginia Legal Aid. Shannon Abell '76, Community Ambassador & Community Educator with AARP Virginia, will discuss recent trends in door to door sales scams, as well as how artificial intelligence is being used to profit from older adults. Registration is required. Upon registering with Virginia Tech, we will complete the necessary enrollment on your behalf with Legal Aid, in order for you to gain access to the webinar.

There is no charge for attendance; however, we have provided an option to make a gift at checkout for those who would like to contribute. All gifts will benefit the Gerontology Annual Fund.
