Gears & Cheers: Happy Hour at The Ware Lab

Step into the innovative world of our student design teams, where you’ll have the unique opportunity to explore their design spaces and witness firsthand the incredible projects they’re working on, from motorcycles to airplanes and off-road vehicles. Engage in intimate conversations with the students, learn about their experiences, and share your own insights and memories!
Enjoy a relaxed evening with fellow Hokies before our annual College of Engineering Homecoming tailgate and football game on Saturday, October 26. Don’t miss this chance to reconnect, network, and celebrate the spirit of innovation at the Ware Lab!
Join us on Friday, October 25, from 4:00-6:30 p.m. for this family friendly event. Children 6 and under are free to attend, registration for children 7-12 is $5 and 13+ registration is $10. Registration includes beer and wine for 21+ guests, appetizers, a $5 donation to Virginia Tech Engineering and much more!

Friday 6-8 p.m.: Parade Watch Party on Alumni Mall. (This event is sold out.)
Saturday 8-11 a.m.: Homecoming Tailgate at the Holtzman Alumni Center. Registration includes food and drinks. Enjoy lawn games, music, a petting zoo, inflatables, and more. $15 in advance; $20 day-of. Children 12 and under attend for free. Each adult registration includes a $5 gift to the Alumni Scholarship Fund.
